Why choose reusable tissues
The paper and pulp industry is the third-largest industrial emitter of global warming gasses. Every year around 8,000,000 trees are cut down to make facial tissues for the US alone.
Deforestation can lead to a direct loss of wildlife habitat . The removal of trees reduces available food, shelter, and breeding habitat. It also removes the miraculous effect the trees have of cleaning our carbon emissions to breathable oxygen – helping to prevent climate change. Every time you blow your nose with a LastTissue, you save 2 liters of water.
⚡It takes 3 times more energy to produce paper tissues compared to the reusable cotton tissues. With one LastTissue pack, you will save the planet from more than +3100 single-use tissues as well as their plastic packaging.
Ingredients and other details
Simply take a tissue from the bottom, use it, and then store it on top of the marked-tissue barrier. This way, you’ll push the clean tissues down, making them ready to use and dividing them from the used. You’ll know you’re on your last tissue when the marked one appears – that means it’s cleaning time. After washing, you repack and use them all over again.
Is LastTissue hygienic?
Yes, the clean and used tissues are separated by a silicone barrier sown unto one of the six tissues in the pack, and the tissues can be washed at 60C/140F to make sure germs are killed before the case is refilled. The silicone case is even safe to put in the dishwasher.
I’m already using a handkerchief, why should I get a LastTissue?
LastTissue is reusable like a handkerchief, but with the convenience of a single use tissue pack. In one pack you get six clean tissues, and you have a practical and hygienic case to store the used tissues in until it’s time to wash them.
How long will LastTissue last?
Each of the six cotton tissues in a pack can be reused over 520 times, bringing the total number of single use tissues a pack will replace over +3100. You can extend the lifetime of a handkerchief by using a laundry bag when you wash them.
How do you fold the tissues when refilling the case?
You can fold the tissues any way you would like, just remember that the tissue with the silicone barrier should be the last one to go into the case.
What material is used for the packaging?
LastObject packaging is made of plastic free cardboard and paper.
