Viridian’s Organic Evening Primrose Oil is unrefined, cold-pressed and naturally rich in gamma linolenic acid. Renowned for its ability to provide exceptional nutritional support for women, evening primrose (Oenothera Biennis) oil is perfect for supporting health and beauty regimes inside and out.
This premium organic oil is rich in the omega 6 essential fatty acid, gamma linolenic acid (GLA). Found primarily in seed oils, GLA has been used for centuries in homeopathic remedies and folk cures to address a variety of ailments. As well as being a delicate tasting nutritious oil that you can take straight from the spoon, our evening primrose oil can also be applied directly to the skin if desired.
Viridian’s Organic Evening Primrose Oil is certified organic by the Soil Association and grown without the use of synthetic pesticides or other chemical sprays. Made exclusively from organic evening primrose seed, the oil is cold-pressed before bottling into amber glass bottles under a blanket of nitrogen to protect the oil from air and light. Each bottle contains 40 servings.
Contains 100% active ingredients, formulated by expert nutritionists with no artificial fillers and no nasties. Sourced according to Viridian’s strict ethical criteria including no animal testing, GMO or palm oil.

What delivery options are there?
- Free local delivery - if you are eligible, this will appear as an option at checkout. All items ordered before 1pm will be delivered the same working day (what a service!). Orders placed after 1pm will be delivered the next working day. **Please note: orders must be over £15.00.**
- Click and collect service: orders are usually ready for collection within four hours. **Please note: for all refill items that cannot be packed into a paper bag (i.e. liquids and make up), you will need to provide a container.**
- Nationwide delivery - details are provided at checkout.
